Bench was much cheaper quality than expected when assembled.
Your review: Used the benches in a museum exhibition about baseball and they worked great. Held up with heavy visitor use. Were easy to assemble and break down to store until appropriate for another exhibit.
Pros: Easy to assemble. Look great. Comfortable. Sturdy.
Your review: It is decent and study when fully assembled and mounted onto the floor. It is comfortable to sit for long periods of time.
There are two boxes for this unit. The overall package of one box with the slats is very heavy with extreme poor protection in the packing which resulted with many of the slats damaged during shipping. The slats corners had chips and deformity on impact with the floor when dropped by the shippers.
Pros: * Easy to assemble. * Decent and study when fully assembled and mounted onto the floor. * Comfortable to sit for long periods of time.
Cons: * The slats pieces are very heavy when they are all pack together to move around. * Poor packing as a package, which resulted in damages during shipping.
Pros: Exactly what I wanted. Very nice bench for the money.
Cons: Shipping package very weak. The boards are too heavy for the shipping container. They apparently broke out of the box during shipping and were chipped, edges were damaged. Shipper must have re-wrapped them. Need to ship in wooden crate in my opinion.
Good for the price
Your review: The bench is definitely solid and appears that it will last a long time. I do wish however that it had some cross braces on the legs to keep them from wobbling. It seems to be holding up just fine in our dog park but I'm not sure how it will fare over time with heavy users.
Pros: Solid construction, great price, attractive
Cons: No cross brace support on the legs which allows a slight wobble when sat upon
Better than expected
Your review: This bench is sturdy and heavier weight than I expected. Solid enough and attractive.
Pros: Heavy-weight solid plastic composite seat slats.
Cons: Cast legs are not entirely evenly cast (flanges are a bit twisted so the bolts may tighten on one side and not pull the seat slat tight on the other). The feet were not altogether evenly ground either, but as the bench was going on grass this posed no difficulty.
Your review: The materials appear to be first rate but some of the finishes are somewhat bruised. For a bus bench it is actually pretty classy.
Pros: Appears to be very heavy duty and graffiti resistant. It is able to be secured - time will tell how it weathers, but first appearances are very good.
Cons: None yet
Review of 12 green benches
Your review: The benches are very sturdy and the wood composite is of good quality which we hope will survive many years in the AZ sun.
The nuts and bolts provided to hold the wood to the metal frame need to be corsrected. The phillips screw that fits on the top side of the bench can become stripped as you use a power screwdriver. Then you have to file it down to prevent people tearing clothing.
A Better solution would be to use a rounded head, and a bolt on the back side maybe with a washer . Another solution would be to conter sink the screw head into the wood.
Great product;bad packaging
Your review: Product is great and a good value for the money. Inadequate and inferior packaging led to chipping and scratches on slats. I thought about calling and complaining but didn't have the time. Metal parts arrived fine. Instructions should be more thorough and precise

Your review: I got 4 of these benches for my restaurant because I kept replacing our regular sling chairs every year. I wanted something that could withstand the rain and hot, California summer days. Once I received the benches I knew they would do the trick. Putting them together was easy enough to do by myself. The bases are made of cast iron and the planks from recycled plastic. The only thing about them is the fact the heads on the screws strip easily and some of the nuts were really hard to screw on, even when using a power tool! So as a safety measure I had to shave off the top of the head on some screws because there were small shards of metal sticking out. Aside from this minor setback I love the benches and I know I won't have to replace them any time soon.
Pros: Will resist exposure to elements. Comfortable and easy to put together.
Cons: No other colors available. Shipping and handling pretty expensive. Heads on screws strip easily.
