Relays

The Pilot Series contains relays that are rated at 10 or 15 Amps. They have been packaged to save the installer the time, trouble and expense of buying separate components (relay, LED indicator, socket, mounting rail, transient protection and housing) and assembling them on the job or at the shop.

The Dry Contact Input RIB series offers all the advantages of the standard RIB line; plus, it can be activated by a wide range of dry-contacts such as thermostats, switches, other relays, solid-state switches, etc. The Dry Contact Input RIB provides the low-voltage (Class 2) power needed to activate the relay (self-powered) - just close the dry-contact input. The power to energize the relay can be brought to the relay on a separate pair of wires along with the control output of the controller, or can be a local power source near the relay. Mounting options include plastic track for snap-mounting circuit boards. One style of track can be mounted to the back surface of any cabinet and is available in 4.00" or 2.75" widths. Another style of track, AdapTrack®, snap onto any of the three most popular DIN rails. In turn, it can accommodate a 4.00" wide circuit board.

The X Series contains current sensors with or without a 10 or 20 Amp relay. An internal 10 Amp relay can be used to activate an external contactor, and currents up to 150 Amps are sensed externally with a Solid or Split current sensing ring. Other units control and sense up to 20 Amp loads, without the use of an external current ring, greatly reducing installation time. Models are available with fixed, or adjustable current sensing trigger points, or with voltage out. Externally visible LEDs indicate the status of the relay coil and current sensor trigger.
