The Speedrooter 92 has root cutting power plus the ability to do small drain work. For smaller lines, you switch to a drum that holds 1/2" cable, a job that takes less than a minute. Just loosen three knobs, swing the motor to the side, and lift off the drum. The power cable feed drives 3/4", 5/8", and 1/2" cables and has the pulling power to get your cable out of the line even on long, tough jobs. To adjust for 3/4" or 5/8" cables, you simply turn the knob on top of the feed. The screwdriver stays in the tool box. Getting to and from the job is easier because the Speedrooter 92 has big ten-inch wheels, V-belt stair climbers to get up and down stairs easier, and a loading wheel mounted on the handle to help you lift the machine into a truck. This lean but tough machine can really take a beating, with extra bracing at key stress points. The drum is supported front and back for longer bearing wear and smoother operation. The large drum has a see-through inner cage, so that the operator quickly can tell how much cable is left in the drum. Standard equipment also includes a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter and an "Off" position on the reverse switch, so the machine won't start if the pedal is pressed accidentally.

Nice Machine, but Extremely heavy for one person.

Great Machine, Has both drums, the 3/4" is mounted, only needed if your doing long runs. Comes with both belts for drums, make sure you open the cutter box, that's where the smaller belt is for the 1/2" drum. This machine is extremely heavy with the 3/4" cable and drum. It's a two man move up and down stairs and in and out of a truck bed, but it's a great machine, the power feed works perfect. Changing the drums is a bit of a hassle because of the drum weight. The 3/4" drum feels like it's almost 175 lbs alone. I would have given it 5 stars but the storage box is too small and the extra springs that come with it have no place to be stored.

Makes it easy

Your review: After over thirty years of owning an open basket General Wire machine, that was manual, I decided to try something that was a little easier for a 72 year old man. This machine is easy to use and the ease of working it is well worth the bucks. The Speed rooter is heavy, but the ease of rolling it with the longer handle is nice. I have not changed the to the 1/2 inch barrel yet but the 3/4 cable is great. Great product

Speed Rooter 92

Your review: Deale Plumbing purchased this item because our Speed Rooter 91 was about 12 years old. We used it to clear a long sewer drain in a commercial building that took about 140 feet of cable. Having the easy swap system of the drums made the job easier. It is a good reliable machine

Pros: Ease of operation. Self feeder makes running cable easier. Good set of bits comes with machine.

Cons: Would like to see a tool that could be used to help pick up the drums when removing from machine to swap. the 3/4 cable drum is almost too heavy for one person to install or remove.

drain machine

Your review: best machine out there cables don't turn around in drum like others. great for tree roots and grease. very little maintenance. motors last for ever. cable connections are welded.
