We have had a lot of problems with fork trucks hitting our racking uprights and damaging them. We had been looking for something that would protect the racks and also allow us to clean around them. These work great. They are strong enough to deflect the fork trucks and save us from having to replace uprights so often. The best thing about these is that unlike the ones you anchor to the floor, these you can just slide up, clean under them, and slide them back down. Works great for a food processing facility. -

These offer good protection and are easy to install. My only concern is that they may be pulled off by a fork truck as it backs out of the racks. I am constructing retainers to prevent this from happening.
