Truck Actuated Dock Levelers Offer A Fully Automatic Loading Ramp To Eliminate The Need For A Dock Attendant.
Fully automatic dock levelers are simple to operate: Truck backs into twin actuating arms (bumpers) pushing the carriage back and moving the deck up. When the carriage bumpers contact the dock, the deck floats down to rest on the trailer. The deck returns to the level supported position automatically when the trailer or truck pulls out.
Automatic dock levelers are made with a 55,000 psi high-strength treadplate steel deck for strength. Toe guards on each side help prevent injuries. Unit includes two molded 5”W x 6”D x 16”H bumpers. A 12”L lip extends 6-1/2” into truck. Dock levelers feature a service range of 14” above and 8” below the dock and include a lift by-pass to prevent damage to obstructions and doors.
