Fractional Size Taper Length Drills Are Used For Deep Hole Drilling In A Wide Range Of Materials.
Fractional Size Taper Length Drills are made for long lasting strength, durability and dependability. Taper length drills are used for applications where a drill longer than standard jobber length is required. High Speed Steel (HSS) varieties are made with Black Oxide or Bright finishes, and are used for general purpose drilling through a wide range of materials, including aluminum, mild steel or a variety of other ferrous or non-ferrous metals and alloys. Cobalt drills with plain finishes are made for heavy duty drilling in tough alloy steels, forgings and casting. All drills are manufactured with right hand (clockwise) cut and straight shanks that have the same diameter as the fluted end. Available in a wide range of fractional sizes from 1/64 to 2 inches in diameter. Drill tip angles are 118 and 135 degrees. Flute types are Standard, Parabolic and Fast Spiral. Choose Imported or Made In USA varieties.
