Large cast iron precision ground table provides work piece support. Powerful TEFC induction motor has 3 V-belt transmission for smooth and consistent power. Work table is precision ground and polished for consistent, smooth operation. Large hand wheel with positive gear drive allows quick and accurate table adjustments. Planners without Helical Head offer infeed and outfeed table extensions with rollers to help in snipe prevention. Planers with Helical Head feature a helical cutterhead with indexable carbide inserts for a superior finish and quieter cut.
