Meets NFPA 1977-2016 Standard on Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland™ Fire Fighting, 2011 Edition. Americana® Wildlands™ Full Brim style polycarbonate hard hat comes with Nomex®/Kevlar® Chinstrap with postman's slide fastener and quick release buckle, three goggle retaining clips on hat shell, four yellow fluorescent retroreflective strips attached to shell, tape to attach neck shroud and affixed under-brim glare guard. Moisture wicking brow pad is removable, washable and replaceable. 4-point nylon webbing suspension has Mega-Ratchet® knob which adjusts head sizes from 6-1/2 to 8. Low hanging, padded, hinged ratchet is height adjustable for personalized fit. Provides protection in environments with higher ambient temperatures or radiant heat such as outdoor Wildlands™ fire fighting.
