Very pleased with the Dryer Booster. It fit behind washer and saved considerable effort in re-ducting. We estimate it has reduced drying time by 30-40%, maybe more on some loads. -

The booster solved my problem of condensation building up in the vertical portion of the vent (which in turn was flooding my laundry room as it cooled). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the screws that hold the three legs in place do not tighten well and thus the two of the three legs kept slipping to one side or the other. I finally got them stable, but that's one design that could be improved. However, since that is NOT critical to the main function, I still give the unit high marks. Works just as advertised. It may also be worth noting that the sensor that detects flow (in order to activate the booster) depends on INCREASED air pressure that is only achieved if the unit is completely attached to both intake and output vents. I initially made the mistake of leaving the output vent unattached and was not attaining the required pressure to activate the blower motor. A call to the manufacturer (on Sunday, I might add) steered me in the right direction. -

The only issue I had with this unit is that the inlet is higher than the outlet for the dryer which made it so that I had to have a "U" shape in the hose feeding the booster. Not an optimum way to plumb it. Otherwise the unit works as it should as we have an 8' rise, 4 90s and about 25' run to the outside wall. The booster pushes the air out and reduced drying time.
