Preferred for its hard surface, beauty and durability, the Solid Maple Butcherblock used by BenchPro™ is made from 1-3/4 thick strips of genuine Maple Hardwood. To prevent warpage and splitting, the wood is dried in a low-heat atmosphere for almost one year before it is cut into strips and glued edge to edge. The hardwood strips vary in width so that some strips are single and some strips are double wide. All welded steel construction means years of rugged service and no assembly. Single shelf model with open style cross-arm base serves as a workbench where seating is required. Two shelf models provides for additional storage or transport capacity. All models are 34" high and feature 4 swivel casters for increased mobility, and 5" non-marking polyurethane wheels with ball bearings. Wheel brakes are standard on single shelf models, optional on others.

These 1-3/4" thick butcher block tops have a two-coat catalyzed varnish finish, and are attached to an all-welded, angle steel frame for unmatched rigidity and strength. The impact resistant, hardwood tops are non-conductive, resist damage from heavy blows, and provide an extremely durable, yet "forgiving" work surface. All models are fully assembled and ready for immediate use. 3" x 1-1/4" hard rubber casters with wheel brakes 35" high.

Top is formed from 3/16" steel and reinforced with 2" angle iron to withstand the most punishing applications. 2" angle corner posts and additional side braces increase stability. Heavy service casters have larger swivel raceway to handle extra capacity. Maneuvers on 4 swivel casters wit 8" x 2" phenolic wheels and wheel brakes. Overall height 34".
