Bought this for a 20 x 24 shop I built. Woks great! 45 degrees to 65 degrees in about a half hour. A little noisy, but efficient and easy to assemble and operate. -

In the time that I've had it, the heater has been great. My garage is kept at a workable temperature. No problems in getting it started, etc. So far everything is fine. -

Bought this thing for an old car dealer service garage that we turned in to a church. 50 foot by 20 foot and 18 foot ceiling. All metal walls, zero insulation. Put the heater in the middle and in 20 minutes or so on full blast the place went from 45 degrees to comfortable. (Not sure exact temps) Only thing that I'd say that may be obvious: Tears through the propane pretty quick, and the unit gets blazing hot. Should not be used around a lot of people. We have to turn it off and put it well out of reach before people get to the services. -

I only got to try it about 5 times to raise the garage temperature to make it comfortable to work. The garage is ~ 22' x 26' with 10' ceiling. At an outdoor temperatur of 32 degrees and a garage temperatur of 40, this unit, on the low setting, raised the temperature to 62 degrees in 12 minutes. I am using a 20# tank. It really moves the air especially if it is set on the 200K setting. Very easy to set up and use. -

I had a 50,00 BTU heater with a fan for the garage when I am working out there and it took at least 30 minutes to get the thing going. So far, this lights up with 30 seconds!

Hello, a 100 lb. tank or larger is required to operate this unit. If you are looking to use a 20 lb. tank, the following models are available: http://www.globalindustrial.com/p/hvac/heaters/kerosene-propane/15k-25k-lp-convection-heater-246644 and http://www.globalindustrial.com/p/hvac/heaters/kerosene-propane/50k-80k-lp-convection-heater-246645. We hope this helps.
