What is the OD of the above fan and is there enough flange on it to connect a flexible hose with a clamp. I wish to use it to extract welding fumes in my home work shop.

Hello Sydney, the diameter of the inlet/outlet is 4" and the flanges are .98" wide. This product is designed to be installed within a ducting system and not as described.
