Retail Glass Front Install

Your review: We bought and installed these gates in a glass front retail location. We have them mounted to 1 3/4" strips of metal that frame our glass store front. We had to improvise a little and punch 2 holes in each gate so we can lock one gate to the next since our limited framing and window design made it impossible to use the closure end bracket that came with the gates. This didn't affect the gates integrity at all. We installed 8 across a 48 ft store front. Including the time it took to figure out how we were going to improvise the closing and a quick trip to the hardware store to buy supplies, the entire install took 2 guys with no experience a total of 6 hours. This was a much more economical way to put up security gates and is easy to do. They will prevent any future 'smash and grab' break-ins, and you don't really notice them when they're retracted when we're open for business.

Excellent build quality, easy installation!

Your review: Unlike many who purchase these security gates, I bought mine for non-commercial / non-industrial purposes: I wanted to add some security to the french door setup we have in our dining room, that leads to the back patio, for night time. I had expected a rough-looking gate that would require some muscle to open and close, but was pleasantly surprised at the build quality and the clean-looking paint job; I had planned on painting it white, but left it as it was because it looked so clean. We mounted this on the inside (as the french doors are outwards opening), and when the gate is fully open (ie, collapsed), it completely hides behind the right curtain!! You would never know when even had a gate! Also, I'd like to mentioned the excellent value for money; similar gates were much more expensive wherever I looked. Secondly, excellent customer service: my first gate had arrived damaged and never even made it to my house, and was sent back automatically.

Great Service and Price

Your review: I ordered one of these gates for our rec center. It arrived in only a couple of days. Loved how easy it was to intall and how unobtrusive it stores. We liked it so much, we ordered a second one and had the same great service experience. Very easy to expand and retract. Gets a little flimsy if pulled out past the 6 foot mark, but all in all, a very good value!
