MetroMax industrial shelving posts come in polymer and steel configurations to fit the needs of your application. Stationary and mobile options exist. Stationary posts include an adjustable leveler foot. Use these for stationary set ups or when building a dolly truck. Mobile posts have an open socket at the bottom for use with Metro stem casters. MetroMax posts come in height selections of 13", 27", 33", 54", 63", 74", and 86".
Polymer posts: are the preferred post type in most plastic shelving applications. They are sturdy and rust proof. Polymer posts have a lifetime warranty against corrosion. Polymer posts have built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection.
Ideal for:
- Walk-in coolers, freezers, kitchen storage: Rust proof and impact resistant polymer stands up to the day to day abuses of kitchens, walk-in coolers and freezers.
- Laboratories: Corrosion proof polymer posts for tough environments. Posts easily wipe clean and contain Microban antimicrobial product protection to keep the product cleaner between routine
- Hospitals (especially SPD department and OR Supply Storage): Smooth surface easily wipes clean and contains Microban, which keeps the product cleaner between routine cleanings.
Epoxy-coated steel posts: feature super sturdy steel construction, corrosion resistant taupe epoxy finish with built in Microban product protection, and 15-year warranty against rust and corrosion. Epoxy coated steel posts are grooved on 1"" (25 mm)increments. Mobile posts come without leveling bolt assembly to accommodate stem casters.
