Beads and cotton combine to provide soothing moist heat. Simply place the pack in the microwave to heat (no water needed). Thera-Temp® packs produce moist heat by drawing moisture from humidity in the air and retain it in the therapeutic beads. Moist heat packs include belt as indicated. To prevent burning, all moist heat packs must be applied with either a hot pack cover or heavy towel completely wrapped around the pack. The terry cloth hot pack cover allows therapeutic moist heat to penetrate without burning the skin. Hook and loop fasteners keep moist heat packs in place.
