Designed with 150g of insulation, these winter gloves trap heat for warmth in extreme cold, from -5°F to -20°F (-21°C to -29°C), These winter work gloves meet the EN388: 3X22 B and EN511: 23x glove standards. The thumb, index and middle fingers feature touchscreen-friendly materials so you can swipe, tap and type on smartphones and tablets without having to take your gloves off (does not work with cell phones with screen protectors). The freezer gloves also feature a soft thumb for wiping the nose and brow area, Hi-vis materials and reflective accents for enhanced wearer visibility. CLO RATINGSInsulation performance is measured by CLO ratings-which is a unit of thermal resistance that indicates insulating ability. The higher the CLO value, the higher the amount of warmth a piece of clothing provides. To determine temperature ratings, CLO factors, Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) and the time or duration of a task are considered. MET levels can be categorized as light activities (forklift driver, equipment operator), moderate activities (picking & packaging, delivery drivers) and vigorous activities (concrete work, tower climber). ProFlex® 850 Insulated Freezer Gloves has a CLO rating of 1.3 and is rated at a moderate work level in -20°F // -29°C for up to 1 hour (rated up to full 8-hour workday at -5°F // -21°C).
