This item is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer. It is specially designed for use with Jet and Wilton sanders. The idler pulley helps to apply tension on the belt. Over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. It is made of high-quality material and is sold individually. This is an authentic Wilton replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with belt/disc sanders. The metal drive shaft is used to mount the idler pulley which is the middle pulley between the motor drive shaft and the belt drum pulley.
