This is a genuine Dirt Devil upright vacuum belt. It fits vacuums that use a Style 4 or Style 5 belt. This is a flat belt which is used to transfer motion from the drive shaft to the brushroll. Th brushroll spins inside the suction nozzle in order to agitate the fibers of carpet or upholstery. This loosens dirt for a thorough clean. Note that the old belt may seem larger then the replacement belt because they get stretched out over time. One belt is included per package. This is an authentic OEM part. The gasket o-ring is made for use with many espresso machines, and is often fastened between the chrome steam valve body and nut. The plastic gasket o-ring is sold individually. The protective gasket o-ring provides protection from leakage. A screwdriver, pliers and a wrench are helpful for the repair process.
