Tapered Roller Bearings

NACHI Features NACHI spherical roller bearings can sustain both heavy radial and axial loads in either direction Deflection of shaft, housing, or misalignment of axes can be automatically corrected by self-aligning feature which prevents the application of excessive force NACHI's newly developed heat stabilization process can sustain normal function in operating temperatures of up to 200°C (392°F) with minimal dimensional changes and no reduction of bearing life Maximum permissible misalignment angle is approximately 2° under general service conditions

ORS Tapered Roller Bearings - Metric. ORS Tapered Roller Bearings are separable; Cone (inner ring) with roller and cage assembly and Cup (outer ring). These bearings can be assembled separately and supplied as matched Cup and Cone sets. Bearings are made of AISI 52100 grade steel and heat-stabilized to 300°F. Rollers and raceways are optimized to have a line contact which allows the bearing to carry heavy radial and axial loads. Since these bearings can only support axial loads in one direction, a second laterally reversed bearing may be used for the axial load in other direction ...

NACHI metric tapered roller bearings carry extra load capacities and are capable of taking combinations of heavy radial loads and axial loads in one direction only at low or intermediate speeds. They are usually mounted in pairs in a similar manner to single row angular contact ball bearings. Since these bearings are separable, cone assemblies and cups can be mounted independently.
