Mechanics Length Drills

Heavy-duty construction for drilling in tough, high-tensile and work-hardening materials under extreme operating conditions. Manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel, increasing hot hardness and extending drill wear life. 135° P3 split point is self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration. Sizes smaller than .0625" do not have split point. Metric sizes are manufactured to DIN 338 OAL and flute length specifications. Straw finish adds lubricity and easily identifies cobalt drills. For drilling in stainless steel, tool steel, alloy steel and titanium. Made In USA. Pack Of ...

135° Split point is self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration. Manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel with heavy duty geometry. Left-hand helix is ideal for use in screw machines where machine spindle rotation is counter-clockwise. Superior rigidity in portable drilling. Straw oxide finish for less galling. Three flats on shank for sizes above 11/64" for tighter chucking and less slippage. For superior rigidity in maintenance applications in stainless steel, titanium, alloy and carbon steel, cast iron and hardened steel. Made In USA. Pack Of 12. 30 Day Warranty.

TiN (Titanium Nitride)-Tipped drills increases lubricity and heat resistant. Same benefits of TiN (Titanium Nitride) coated at a fraction of the cost. Manufactured from cobalt high-speed steel. 135° split point prevents walking, which produces a better quality hole. Sizes smaller than 1/16" do not have a split point. For drilling into steel, cast steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, grey cast iron, graphite and malleable cast iron. Pack Of 6. 30 Day Warranty.

Parabolic flute disperses chips away from the cutting edges more rapidly and increasing coolant flow. Exceptional for deep-hole drilling. Manufactured from high-speed steel. Aerospace-style 135° split point is self-centering, reducing walking. Faster penetration rates than conventional HSS heavy duty jobber drills. Bright finishes. For drilling in low carbon steel, soft alloy steel, non-ferrous materials and aluminum with TiCN as a modification. Made In USA. Pack Of 6. 30 Day Warranty.

135° Split point is self-centering for reduced thrust and easier penetration. Manufactured from high-speed steel substrate with heavy duty geometry. Black and gold (Barber pole) oxide finish for less galling. Three flats on shank for sizes above 11/64" for tighter chucking and less slippage. For superior rigidity in maintenance applications in low to medium carbon steel, alloy steel and cast iron. Made In USA. Pack Of 12. 30 Day Warranty.
