Die-cast zinc housings are non-corrosive and lightweight with either a bronze bearing or ball bearing insert. Pressed steel housings come plated with a rust-proof finish and are available with bronze bearing or ball bearing inserts. Stainless steel housings are USDA/FDA approved and have UHMW-PE bearing inserts and are ideal for wash-down applications in wet or harsh environments. Solid UHMW-PE Bearings are made completely from UHMW-PE and are USDA/FDA approved and are self-lubricating.
