Neoprene is the most commonly used foam material due to its good balance of strength, oil, water, and weather resistance. Common applications include industrial gaskets to seal water, air, dust, and other environmental items, automotive gaskets, and athletic equipment. This neoprene is lighter and easier to compress than other Neoprene foams. It is also UL listed for flame retardance.
