This Flame Resistant Nomex/Lenzing Knit Sock Hood features a Double-Ply Face and a Single-Ply Drape. It is composed of 20% Nomex and 80% Lenzing Flame-Resistant material which is rated for Category 2 protection (10.1 cal/cm2). This hood is typically worn with the SAS1 series face shields to provide robust arc flash protection. Also works great alone in colder seasons for warmth.

The Lightweight UltraSoft FR Balaclava is Made in the USA and features inherently FR fabric that will not melt, drip or ignite. Both lightweight and durable, this hood is made with single layer UltraSoft fabric and has a flat lock seam for comfort when worn under a hard hat.
