Brass Wood Screws are manufactured with an aggressive thread style that has a higher degree of grip strength when used on materials such as plywood, lumber and other woods. They are made with a countersunk head that provides a flush surface after installation and are manufactured from solid brass for corrosion resistance. When working with wood screws it is suggested that a pilot hole slightly smaller than the diameter of the fastener be used to prevent materials from splitting.
