Hamilton® V-Groove Wheel 8 x 2-3/4 - 1" Roller Bearing

Running V-Groove wheels on inverted angle iron track is a popular and low-cost method of taking loads off the floor and creating production-line flow. A relief groove in the "V" assures proper weight distribution and makes wheel and track "self-cleaning", while a partial flat-tread permits rolling the wheels directly on floors as well.

This wheel is liquid cast to a thickness of approximately 1/2" and chemically bonded onto heavy-duty iron wheel centers. The distinctive green treads are chemically inert, non-sparking, non-conductive, impervious to ozone, grease and most oil and solvents, and will not mark floors.

This attractive and durable wheel features a resilient tread of re polyurethane mechanically bonded to a specially designed white center of harder polypropylene. The result is a non-marking, contemporarily looking wheel ideally suited for hospitals, office building, schools, restaurants, hotels, or light industry.

This solid cushion rubber tire is permanently molded onto iron wheel centers to provide a rugged, long wearing wheel that is widely used on industrial equipment. Tire has a thickness of about 1" and hardness of 70 Durometer.

A fiber filled phenolic resin, molded under extreme pressure, gives this wheel the ability to carry heavy loads without damaging floors in intermittent service. They are non-marking, resist corrosion from oil, water, grease and commonly used acids or solvents, and will not spark. Can be operated continuously in temperatures ranging from -50 to 260 degrees F and intermittently to 300 degrees F.
