The Honeywell V8043E1004 24V motorized zone valve includes a 1/2 sweat connection. This two-way on-off low voltage valve consists of an actuator and valve assembly for controlling the flow of hot water. The V8043E1004 valve is designed for cycling (not constantly powered on) applications and is to be used in closed loop hydronic systems that do not contain dissolved oxygen in system water, such as fresh water from frequent source of makeup water. Features: The Honeywell V8043E1004 includes a manual opener for valve operation on power failure; valve returns to automatic position when power is restored. The V8043E1004's compact construction allows for easy installation. This valve may be installed without disassembling, while the complete powerhead may be removed or replaced without breaking plumbing line connections or draining the system. The actuator motor may be replaced without removing the valve body or draining the system.
