First one came in damaged. Global immediately sent us out another one which we should receive tomorrow. The fan is loud but it really moves air great. We are an HVAC company and are using it to push cool air into the attic space. From what I've seen it works fantastic. -

I was concerned about noise based on other reviews. But I really didn't think it was that bad. Its just what you would expect with a powerful fan. The only flaw or concern I have is with the strap at the end of the flex-hose. One of the reviewers suggested ensuring the flex-hose is tightly strapped to the fan, or it will blow off because the fan is so powerful. Well, I ended up tearing the flex-hose a bit by pulling too tight on the strap. -

I put this to the test over a three day period of tearing out plaster & lath walls in an 1865 home. It literally turned what would be a complete dust bowl into an hour of clean up. The dust was sucked out of the room before it could fill the house. It has extreme power, so much so that you need to secure the 32' duck very tightly to the fan because it wants to be blown off from the force of the air. The 32' duct is very well manufactured and if I keep it away from sharp edges it should provide a long working life. The unit is very loud but with proper ear protection which I needed for the power tools anyway it was fine. -

Can this fan be placed inline or in between 2 32' ducts to serve as a booster? Of not, are there any "booster" solutions? I have about a 70'-90' run.

Hello, we apologize but this unit is not intended to be mounted in a ducting system. We can however guide you to our lines of inline duct fans by going to the following path when clicking on the Categories tab of our website. Please go to HVAC/R & Fans, then Exhaust Fans & Ventilation, then Inline Duct Fans for a complete listing. Can you install 2 flexible ducting for a total of 64 feet?

Hello Matthew, This can be done but it's not recommended. It would also void the warranty. Increasing the ducting length also increases the static pressure that the fan must overcome to blow or exhaust air. This will put more work strain on the motor and eventually overheat it. Thank you for your interest in our product.
