Silicone has excellent weathering properties and also maintains its shape over longer periods of time than other rubber materials. Silicone also offers good resistance to ozone. Soft durometer rubber has better conformability. The high temperature adhesive performs at a much higher temperature range so that the adhesive meets or exceeds the material temperature range.
