Compared to 4-point suspension systems, the 6-point suspension better disperses the force of an impact. The compact helmet design improves visibility, and a chin strap ensures the helmet remains secure to the wearer's head upon impact or sudden movement such as a slip, trip or fall.
ADDITIONAL IMPACT PROTECTION:
The safety helmet meets ANSI Z89.1-2014, Type 2, Class E requirements. The suspension and shell design of this helmet provides added side, front and back protection compared to an ANSI Z89.1-2014 Type 1 requirements. This increased coverage also meets the impact and penetration resistance requirements of EN12492: 2012 clauses 4.2.1.2, 4.2.1.3, 4.2.1.4 and 4.2.2.
