Materials
Hook assembly fabricated from stainless steel machine. Housing is fabricated from 14-gauge 304 stainless steel and powder coated white. Unit is furnished with four (4) 1/4"- 20 UNC tamper resistant flat screws and one (1) 5/32" hex bit for center reject pin for use with installer provided wall anchors.
Operation
Auto-release hooks have an adjustable releasing range of zero to twenty-five pounds. The release point is factory set to release at 10 ± 2 pounds at the base of the hook. The release point can be field adjusted using a 3/32" Allen wrench. To increase the loading limit, turn the adjusting screw clockwise; to decrease the loading limit, turn the adjusting screw counterclockwise. The auto-release function deters utilizing the product as a point of ligature.
Installation
Use punched mounting holes in fixture as a template for marking the locations for the wall anchors (not provided) on the wall. Install the wall anchors. Fasten the fixture to the wall using the screws (provided).
