These locking pliers feature a lower jaw that can pivot from any of 4 positions to grasp odd-shaped objects. A hinged platform on the lower jaw lets the jaw conform to the shape of the workpiece for a better grip. The tensioning thumbscrew is located on the spine of the fixed handle for one-hand operation. A lever on the other handle releases the jaws when squeezed. The jaws and handles have a chrome-plated finish with an orange PVC coating on the release handle. These pliers measures 255mm long overall with 16mm wide jaws. Maximum height when closed 75mm. The tips of the jaws can grasp an object up to 65mm thick. Maximum vertical throat clearance 50mm. Maximum pipe capacity 65mm.
