The Flare to Weld Line Set Adapter for Universal gives you the option to use a traditional line set. If you have an existing line set but you are wanting a new universal this is needed to complete the flared connection from the Universal Air Handler to the Universal Condenser. The Flare to Sweat Line Set Adapter for Universal also comes with 3/4 in. Grey insulation to help keep the line set from condensation and protecting the copper lines.
