The GK2000 Floor Mat Ground Kit offers the hardware required by ANSI/ESD S-6.1 and ANSI/ESD-S20.20 to ground an ESD floor mat.
The Ground Kit comes with a the FM1515 molded low profile ground cord with mushroom cap that eliminates a trip hazard and a CS1090 Universal Snap Kit that ensures secure connection to floor mats. Quickly and easily add a 3/8" (10mm) snap into the mat with a screw driver. The kit includes both a socket and stud snap as well as two screw lengths for thicker materials. The 15ft ground cord snaps to the mat, and connects to earth ground (typically the center screw of an outlet) via a #10 ring terminal.
ESD Standards require 1 ground point per mat or every 10ft of ESD matting. Meets or exceeds requirements of ANSI ESD-S20.20 and ANSI/ESD S-6.1.
