H-B&#174; B61800-0600 DURAC&#174; 10/100% Salt Brine % by Saturation Shatterproof Plastic Hydrometer, 1/Pack Made from optical quality polycarbonate material, these plain form hydrometers are durable and shatterproof, and perfect for field work where breakage could be a concern. They are used for measuring sodium chloride saturation of salt brines in various industries including food, fishing, and transportation. At 300mm (12") long, they contain lead free ballast and are available in models to measure various levels of salt content from 0% to 100%. Easy to read black scale on yellow back helps avoid eye fatigue. Each is individually serialized and has a temperature standardization of 60&#176;F (15&#176;C). DURAC&#174; Polycarbonate Hydrometers are made and hand inspected by our U.S. quality team in our exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and A2LA Accredited Calibration Laboratory; internationally recognized and accepted by the signatory economies of the ILAC/MRA and located in our ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System registered facility. They are packaged with a multi-language (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish) Statement of Accuracy indicating accuracy traceable to NIST. Made in USA. Note: Polycarbonate hydrometers are not recommended for use with petroleum-based liquids or other corrosives that would potentially affect the plastic material.
