Essick Air 32 oz. Humidifier Bacteriostatic Treatment 1970

Our Humidifier Bacteriostatic Treatment helps to control bacteria and algae growth in evaporative humidifiers. When filling the humidifier, use 1/6 fluid ounce (approx. 1/8 capful) bacteriostatic treatment per gallon of water. Repeat process when refilling. Regular use will eliminate bacteria/algae growth and keep your unit smelling good.

Your review: We use two large evaporative humidifiers. This treatment did keep the evaporative elements from growing anything. No unusual odors either.

Pros: No mold or mildew dared grow with this product in the water. It seemed that the calcium and iron build-up from our water was less than with other products. We expect that we can use the evaporator elements for two seasons.

Cons: The warning label is enough to scare the wits out of the employees! The solution is effective, but most who changed or refilled the reservoirs wore gloves and masks. Not a bad idea, but it made some question the solutions ability to vaporize along with the water. No one has so much as sneezed though and the MDS Sheet says that we are safe.
