The holes are of sufficient diameter to insure proper fixing with either a mechanical or chemical anchor. The two set screws in the vertical socket give greater sideload stability to the upright. The base plate holes are of sufficient diameter to allow for attachment with either a mechanical or chemical anchor, the side plates have slotted holes to allow for a degree of sideways movement for ease of installation. 7/16" diameter fixing holes.
