The KwiKool temperature sensor extension, part no. KK-tempExt25, 25' temp. ext., can be used on any KwiKool iceberg series portable air conditioner. It is primarily used in applications where the unit is required to respond to a hot spot in the space being cooled. The temperature extension replaces the standard temperature sensor, which is located in the upper right hand corner of the return grill. The 25' temperature extension wire comes through the unit cabinet with a temperature sensor at the end. The wire should be run alone the wall in order to avoid a tripping hazard. The sensor is mounted in the hot spot area, which will cause the unit to turn on and off based on the temperature at the hot spot, compared to the unit set point. This product is made in USA. The product has a limited warranty of 1 year.
