We recently received and assembled the stool 2 days prior to the foot ring arriving (wasn't aware it was not in the shipment). how do we disassemble the chair in order to install the foot ring?

Hello Stephen, in order to install the foot ring, the hydraulic cylinder and seat mechanism must be removed from the chair. An Allen Key wrench will be required to complete this task. Thank you for your question.
