This Fixing Strap is used to attach an inlet fabric duct section to the metal starter collar. This is where the transition from metal to fabric occurrs. This strap is for 20" to 36" diameter fabric ducts. Hardware on this strap is galvanized.

Zip-A-Duct™ Galvanized Plastic Coated Cable - 82 Foot Roll This is a roll of cable designed for the installation of the Zip-A-Duct™ Fabric Duct system. The diameter of this cable fits the cable clips built into the fabric sections. Using a different diameter will cause problems with your installation. This is a galvanized cable coated with a clear plastic coating.

Each Straight Fabric Duct run requires two stretches to put tension on the Horizontal Cable to aid in keeping the cable level and straight. This is important for the appearance of the fabric duct run. Stainless steel should always be selected if the environment where the Fabric is being installed is a corrosive environment.

We recommend that you use a total of four cable locks for each horizontal run and 2 cable locks for each vertical drop. Please refer to the installation instructions for additional details. This cable lock is made of galvanized material.
