Graphite Rods

PVC is known for its excellent chemical resistance and electrical insulating properties. PVC is commonly used in pipes, cable insulation, and chemical processes. PVC Type 2 is has more impact strength, but lower corrosion resistance than PVC Type 1.

Unidirectional carbon fiber has its fibers running in a single parallel direction so it is ideal for applications where front-to-back strength is important. Long, tubular structures that move in a forward-and-reverse direction, such as rockets, airplanes, boats, and bicycles, all use unidirectional carbon fiber as reinforcement.

PTFE is noted for its chemical resistance and performance in extreme temperatures. It also has a slippery surface which makes it an ideal choice for parts that slide and roll, such as bearings and gears. This glass-filled grade enhances its durability in high-stress applications.

Grade XX Garolite is composed of a paper base impregnated with a phenolic resin binder. It has good electric strength properties with fair mechanical strength. Outstanding for use as template material or backup material.

Grade G-10/FR-4 is the most versatile all-around composite. This Garolite is composed of a glass woven fabric base impregnated with a flame-retardant epoxy resin binder. It has extremely high mechanical strength and good electric strength properties.
