the fan works well,as expected. I would reduce the 31” square rough opening that is redommended by 1/2” because the attachment holes are very close to the edge of the framing. -

It is only 68 Degrees the first day they went in and they only run for 2 minutes before they shut off. I bought 3 warehouse exhaust fans to cool our warehouse this summer(this is what they are designed for) and all 3 will not run more than 2 minutes before they overheat and turn off. If it is below 70 degrees now how will they even work when it is 100 degrees out. If these are designed to go in the peaks of a warehouse, on a 100 degree day it is 140 plus at the roofline so what are these even for? -

I have a 30 hP compressor and dryer in a room about 4500 Cubic feet in size. It is about 15 degrees above ambient. I have a 32x36 opening (will remove a window) for a fan in the block wall. I can also use the other window of the same size across the room for makeup air. Will this fan do the trick?

Hello Philip, This fan is meant for inside wall installation. This fan should not be operated outside. For proper exhaust operation, a window, door, or louver should be opened on the opposite side of the area to be ventilated. Thank you for your interest in our product.

We're going to be building a 24' x 28' stand alone garage (approx. 20' to the center peak) with an open walk-up loft. What size fan do we need to keep it reasonably cool in the summer?

Model number 294497, CD 24" Exhaust Fan Shutter Mounted, is highly recommended for the stand alone garage. The CFM required to ventilate a building with dimensions of 24 ft. L x 28 ft. W x 20 ft. H with 4 minutes between air changes is 3,360 CFM and 294497 would be perfect.
