The specially formulated long fiber technology attracts 99% of bacteria without use of any chemicals, helping to protect against cross-contamination in healthcare environments. Once used, BioFiber® sheets can be safely disposed into landfills or composted. Within 4-6 weeks they will break down into less than 1 oz. of inert material. BioFiber® has been tested and proven for biodegradability in accordance with the ASTM D6400-99 standard.
