Install al Bobrick Grab Bars with the WingIt Grab Bar Fastener. Constructed of corrosion resistant stainless steel, fastener installs grab bars without backing - no need to open or reconstruct walls. For 2-1/2" and 3-1/2" or deeper hollow walls with finished wall surfaces 1/4" to 1-1/2" thick. Can be used on walls with a minimum of 5/8" thick painted or tiled drywall, or 1/2" thick drywall with added finished wall material. Fastener will support 300-lb. load exceeding all building code and governmental agency guidelines, including ADA Accessibility Guidelines in the U.S.A. One fastener is required for each flange.
