Enhance your warehouse 2000 series steel shelving with the closed front base strip. Adding a Lyon® closed base strip helps prevent items from falling and rolling under the shelving unit. When used with closed uprights these closed front bases help close off the entire bottom of the Industrial Steel Shelving section. Lyon® 2000 series steel shelving offers a complete storage solution for everything from basic backroom storage to integrated warehouse applications. Our 2000 series shelving design makes it easy to either change or add to your storage solution. Our versatile base strip fits with both the Beaded and Angle Posts.
The strip ends extender longer on the bottom to fit behind the posts on either side. Easily attach the closed strip to the front flange of the shelf with 3 push-in fasteners. These closed bases are made of heavy-gauge steel and are available to fit 36-inch or 48-inch-wide Closed Shelving Sections. Base strips fit snugly against the bottom most shelf in the section and align with the top of the shelf. Our closed shelf bases include the necessary fasteners as well as a strong and smooth Dove Gray finish. Our powder coat application process creates a finish that is impact as well as corrosion resistant. Each package contains ten closed front base strips as well as the necessary push-in fasteners.
