Rubber-Cal - Santoprene - 60A - Thermoplastic Sheets and Rolls - 1/8" Thick x 24" Width x 12" Length

A reinforced elastomer with minimum tensile strength of 500 PSI (4 MPA) and made from smooth, black Styrene Butadiene rubber (SBR rubber). This reinforced sheet rubber is available in 4 thicknesses (1/16, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4) and 65-75 durometer with limited flexibility and low elasticity. This reinforced sheet rubber has an approximate weight of: 1LB per square foot in 1/8 thick.

This formulation contains metal fillers which allow the Buna-N rubber to be picked up by metal detection systems should they tear or fall into the process stream. It is also made of FDA compliant materials for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical applications. Buna-N is ideal for oils, grease, fuels, and petroleum applications. It also works well with water and mild chemicals and has excellent physical properties making it tough and durable.

> Red Sheet is a blend of SBR (Styrene Butadiene Rubber) and other natural rubbers. Red sheet rubber is a cost effective rubber sheet and is not recommended for oil and ozone-resistant applications. It conforms easily to uneven flange surfaces and is an appealing product for the cost conscious industrial consumer.
