Necessary product

Your review: Oil, 'mystery' or not, is necessary for the butcher block. Arrived at the same time as my block.

Pros: Didn't have to go out and get any, until it's used up!

Cons: Nothing.

Your review: Use this to take care of new wood and to maintain it every month. After you use the oil, follow up the next night with the wax and gently wipe off in the morning with a paper towel. (I take the paper towel and run it over the wooden handles of my wooden utensils to maintain them)

Pros: Keeps wood healthy and looking nice. Why have nice wood if you're not maintaining it properly?

Cons: no cons.
