Spring Washers compress to act like a spring and deflect when loaded, providing a preload between the two joined surfaces. Fasteners are used where assemblies need a part to eliminate rattle, maintain assembly tension, compensate for expansion or contraction, or to absorb intermittent shock loads for long lasting durability.

Square Beveled Washers are commonly used to provide a parallel bearing surface when fastening bolts through the flanges of I-beams in structural applications.

10-24X1/2 Unslotted Indented Hex Washer Thread Cutting Screw Type 23 Fully Threaded Zinc. Thread-Cutting Type-23 screws provide excellent chip clearance with minimum tightening torques.
