Elesa® original design technopolymer plastic five lobed knobs. The special type of technopolymer used and the matte finish make this knob elegant and "soft" to touch. The operator obtains a strong clamping action without any discomfort due to its ergonomic design: five lobes, blended radius and well proportioned rim height assure a natural, safe and comfortable grip Resistant to solvents, oils, grease and other chemical agents. For certain minimum quantities, center cap is available in other colors and/or imprints.
The wide surface area of the T-bar knob allows for positive low profile clamping. Resistant to solvents, oils, grease and other chemical agents. Maximum heat resistance of nylon plastic: 110°C (230°F). Special stud assemblies (glued into place) available upon request.
Elesa® original design technopolymer plastic solid five lobed knobs. This technopolymer knob has been designed for applications on machines and equipment whose parts, for health reasons, must be frequently cleaned, using water jets or steam. Elesa® original design technopolymer plastic domed gear lever knobs. EN 719.2 knobs are very often used in place of DIN 319 ball knobs on gear levers and shafts. They are often selected for ergonomical reasons. Press-on type knobs are mounted by driving them onto a gear lever shaft with a plastic hammer. A threaded shaft is not required. The shaft end should preferably be slightly rounded or chamfered (30°). Tapped type is temperature resistant up to 80°C (175°F). Press-on type is temperature resistant up to 50°C (120°F). Other colors available upon request.
Quick release hand knobs GN 6336.3 are used in such applications where the knob has to be completely removed and refitted very rapidly for re-clamping. The knob is tilted over the threaded spindle. When in position, the knob is brought into a straight position for mating of the two threads on the insert and spindle. The hand knob will then have to be turned only by a fraction of a rotation to achieve clamping. Maximum heat resistance of nylon plastic: 110°C (230°F). Quick release knurled nuts, see GN 6303.1.
