Designed to be used in the 800asb Case Sealer. The taping head applies a C clip of Scotch™ brand pressure-sensitive film box sealing tape to the bottom center seam of regular slotted containers. The design of this taping head allows it to be mounted in the upper or lower taping locations. The compact size and simplicity of the taping head also makes it suitable for mounting into other box conveying systems to tape cartons. The HST Upper Taping Head applies 48 mm wide C-clips of tape at case speeds of up to 150 ft./min. Unique precision shaft and ball bushing slide ensure precise application. Heads can be mounted for upper and lower or right and left side applications. Cases are securely and precisely sealed. Can replace other types of taping or gluing heads in existing case sealers.

33M™ AccuGlide™ 2+ Upper Taping Head, 3" Features stainless steel construction for corrosive plant environments. The low profile side plate and open tape path allow fast and easy threading, while brake drum maintains proper tape tension and prevents overcoasting. Low-impact curvilinear motion exerts minimum force on case and maximizes system life. Upper taping head applies 48mm and 72mm (2" and 3") tape widths up to 81 ft/min case speed. Flexible buffing roller and brush compensate for case variation.
