A formulation of 94% propylene glycol and a specially designed 6% package of industrial corrosion inhibitors. Only inhibited glycol made with DOW® PuraGuard™ Propylene Glycol USP/EP, a pharmaceutical grade of monopropylene glycol with specified purity greater than 99.8%. By contrast, competitor products are often made from recycled or industrial-grade glycols or from glycols derived from bio-renewable sources. These glycols typically do not meet USP specifications.

ANTI-FREEZE FOR WET FIRE PROTECTION SPRINKLER SYSTEMS Fire Safe anti-freeze protection fluid is glycerin based which is in compliance with the recommendations of NFPA 13. Systems using Fire Safe are assured flow protection of -15°F and burst protection of -50°F. Fire Safe is ready to use and should not be diluted.
